This ministry is designed to prepare children of the congregation (K-12) for the annual Bible Bowl each fall in Cookeville, TN. The goal is to help our children learn and have fun at the same time.
Circuit Riders builds church leaders by working with our high school young men to lead all aspects of worship. In addition, it helps to connect the MJ congregation to other local congregations through these efforts.
Cocoons are our small group ministry offering a haven for spiritual growth and transformation. Inspired by the cocoon's symbolism of protection and renewal, it's a place where struggles are met with new life in Christ.
HiStep helps prepare baptized, high school students who have a desire to learn how to teach Bible classes. After a few weeks of training, these students work alongside of experienced adults inside of the classroom for a more hands-on approach.
One of the beautiful things about the church is the way that it brings the young and the old together. Up Groups were created so that our students and godly mentors. Up Groups consist of one adult and three students who meet together once a month.
Young Ladies/Soliders Serving Christ is a program designed to teach young people the importance a lifetime of spiritual leadership and service. It takes place each year in the winter quarter.
