We want you to know that we love you and appreciate your cooperation while overcoming the health and safety challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. We recognize that the necessary changes to our gatherings and schedules over this past year were not easy. Your response and resilience during this time demonstrate your love for Christ and His church. We want to inform you after careful consideration and prayer that due to the steady decline of COVID-19 cases the Elders have decided to make the following changes to our gatherings and schedules:
- Effective May 23rd, the wearing of face coverings and masks will be optional throughout our facilities for all services and events. We respect and encourage personal discretion to determine individual needs for face coverings.
- Beginning Sunday, June 6th we will expand the seating areas with no social distancing measures to include the Creek Side and Creek Side Middle sections of the auditorium. This will be in addition to the front side corner sections that currently have no distancing measures.
- On Sunday, July 11th our times of worship and Bible class will return to their pre-COVID schedule with worship at 8:00 and 10:15, Bible class at 9:20, and evening worship at 5:00. Also, along with the return to this schedule on July 11th there will no longer be any social distancing measures in the main auditorium. However, a simulcast of all services will be provided in the Upper Fellowship Hall where social distancing can be observed.
If you have any questions, please see any of the Elders. Again, we appreciate your cooperation as we make these changes. Our prayer is that we all eagerly wait for Christ’s return as we Grow, Love, and Serve with one another here at the Mt. Juliet Church.
